Off-Ice Classes

The Rinks - Anaheim ICE offers off-ice training classes for both figure skaters and hockey players. These classes will help skaters improve their balance, coordination and flexibility to give them the extra edge they need in competition. 

Ballet Classes

Ballet is a great additional training tool for figure skaters of all ages and levels. This class will help to improve balance, coordination, flexibility, artistry, posture, muscle control and basic body awareness.

Hockey Classes

Balance training is designed to help skaters improve their ability to coordinate movements while maintaining balance on the ice. This class will help improve balance, coordination, flexibility, muscle control and basic body awareness. 

Thursdays, 5:30pm-6:00pm

Training will include exercises designed to:

  • Improve lateral movements on the ice
  • Increase player's ability to achieve full extension pushes on strides while maintaining balance on one leg
  • Learn to engage the deep inner core muscles, which will allow the paler to increase power and balance on the ice

All classes are taught by instructor Elena Segal. Elena trained under the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Russia, Royal Ballet Theater in London, and the American Ballet Theater in New York.
